Motion Assignment 2

 Blurred- These pictures are appealing because your eye travels around the photo and the blurred lines make it more interesting.



Frozen- These pictures are interesting because you are able to see things that happen in a split second that you couldn't see otherwise.



Panning- These pictures are appealing to the eye because the subject of the photo is clear and in focus and the background is blurry which shows the movement of the subject.


Zooming- These pictures are intriguing because of the vertical lines leading the the center of the photo.


Writing with light- These pictures are cool because of the differnt colored lights which make it interesting.


Chrono- These pictures are interseting because you can see the progession of the movements make by the subject in a chronological way.

Motion Assignment 1



Blurred
The focus of the photo moves while the photo is being taken. Blurred lines on the subject, crisp lines in the foreground/background. Use a slow shutter speed and a tripod.




Frozen
Use a fast shutter speed to create crisp lines. Can capture things that happen in a split second. 







Panning
 Focus on the subject and follow it while taking the photo. The background should be blurry and the subject should be in focus. Use a medium shutter speed and typically no tripod. 




Zooming
Use a tripod and zoom into the photo while taking it. Use a slow shutter speed. Picture will have blurry lines leading to the center on the photo.





Writing with light
Use a slow shutter speed while someone draws with light. Use a tripod. The slower the shutter speed, the more time you have to capture the light.





Chrono
A person or object moves while their photo is taken continuously. Use a tripod so that the background doesn't change. Edit the photos together using photoshop.

Aperture Quiz

Reflection: I thought this assignment was a good refresher on aperture. I think I now understand when and how to change the aperture when taking photos. I think this can make my photos much better and more interesting. If I was to critique my work, I would retake my f/10 photo because I didn't make my focus clear enough.
